...aw rats I totally haven't been blogging,
BUT I have been drawing.
Here are my drawings since I last posted.
They are; St. Martins-in-the-Field adjacent to Trafalgar Square,
the Repton Boxing Club in Bethnal Green,
Wesley's Chapel on in Moorgate,
Limehouse Basin
and the view of the Autumn leaves
in the churchyard in St. Dunstan in Stepney.

Tuesday, 28 March 2017

On Sunday in church I learnt that
from the Second Century onwards
people used the metaphor of a mother pelican
to represent Jesus.
How strange but wonderful!

More wandering and doodling.
Of St. Paul's Cathedral
(loved it so much I thought I'd draw it again)

Doodle to celebrate the start of Fairtrade Fortnight

Tuesday, 21 February 2017

Yesterday I returned from a visit to L'Abri.
It was a wonderful visit in so many ways.
One of the highlights was reading speeches by
Martin Luther King Jr.
I really love how King condemned evil and called for justice,
and yet within doing so also insisted on acting in love and mercy
towards those who showed evil,
and how he lived out these two messages in his life.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year!
Here's a throwback painting from a year or so ago,
from Hackney City Farm.

Today I went to the Sky Gardens in Fenchurch Street.
They're really cool. Here are some clumsy doodles I did whilst there.

Over the weekend I finished 'Little Women'.
I loved it! It was so good!
I need to read 'Good Wives', right now!
Mr. Brooke and Meg made me so happy,
so I decided to doodle of their moments.
^___^
